Connect tools & MCP servers (agents that use tools)

Give your agent real capabilities: your APIs as functions, and any MCP server's tools mid-conversation.

PollyBot is MCP-native in both directions. First direction: your agent can use tools.

    • Custom API functions: register your endpoints so the agent can look up orders, create records, or trigger jobs.
    • MCP servers: connect a Model Context Protocol server and your agent can call its tools during a conversation.

    Add a tool

    1. 1Open the agent → Tools.
    2. 2Add an API function (URL, method, parameters) or connect an MCP server.
    3. 3Describe when the agent should use it. Good descriptions make it fire at the right time.
    4. 4Test in the preview chat, then enable it on your live channels.

NoteCustom API functions start on Feather; MCP server connections start on Flock. Higher plans raise the limits.
