Connect tools & MCP servers (agents that use tools)
Give your agent real capabilities: your APIs as functions, and any MCP server's tools mid-conversation.
PollyBot is MCP-native in both directions. First direction: your agent can use tools.
- Custom API functions: register your endpoints so the agent can look up orders, create records, or trigger jobs.
- MCP servers: connect a Model Context Protocol server and your agent can call its tools during a conversation.
Add a tool
- 1Open the agent → Tools.
- 2Add an API function (URL, method, parameters) or connect an MCP server.
- 3Describe when the agent should use it. Good descriptions make it fire at the right time.
- 4Test in the preview chat, then enable it on your live channels.
NoteCustom API functions start on Feather; MCP server connections start on Flock. Higher plans raise the limits.
